Our Home

Welcome to Marula House – where care feels like home.

Marula House is a small, family-style home for up to four young people aged 8–17, of mixed gender, who may be facing emotional and behavioural challenges.

It’s a peaceful, welcoming space where the focus is on creating a real sense of belonging.

Set in a quiet village with easy access to nearby towns, the home has: Four cosy bedrooms, Warm communal spaces for eating, relaxing and spending time together, And it’s all just a short walk from local schools, shops, parks and more.

But what really makes Marula House special is the feel of the place.

We don’t believe in making our homes feel institutional. Instead, we build a nurturing environment where young people are supported through kindness, patience and positive role modelling. We understand that trauma doesn’t look the same for everyone and that every bad day is an opportunity for connection.

At Marula House, we focus on relationships, trust, and genuine care. Because that’s what makes a house a home.
